common failure on these 7 speed transmissions, which is caused when the accumulator itself or the accumulator housing cracks and it rips open the actual mechatronic cover and leaks all the fluid out .

This a quick and easy repair, without paying a lot of money for the mechatronic unit itself and going through headache of transfering all the components to a new unit.

Basically you screw in the new accumulator housing to the existing plate, without the need to buy a new body/plate , using the original screws, and then screw on the new accumulator
